What is the Social Media Analytics Connector and how does it work?
Our Social Media Analytics Connector allows us to automatically pull near real-time data to assess the effectiveness and engagement of each Finfluencer’s posts. By clicking the link you authorize the use of the Social Media Analytics Connector app. Facebook will confirm this authorization by presenting you with a popup that explains what information we wish to collect. The app will only access public profile information, email address, number of followers and data linked to your posts (likes, shares, comments). Payment

How are Finfluencer payment rates calculated?
The payment rate for each Finfluencer channel is calculated based on several factors, including the number of followers, post engagement, quality of content, and overall reputation. As a Finfluencer on our network, you will receive an offer via email with a specific rate per post. Your compensation for that channel falls into a payment tier (like a tax bracket). As your engagement or number of followers grow, you can move into a new tier, and your compensation will change accordingly.
Can a Finfluencer’s compensation rate change?
As a Finfluencer, your monetary compensation for each post is determined by a formula based on social platform type (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, TikTok), number of followers, and engagement rate. Your compensation is assessed per channel using a payment tier (like a tax bracket). As your engagement or followers grow, you can be moved into a new tier, and your compensation will change accordingly. Rates are reviewed quarterly and you will be notified of any changes before they occur.
When will Finfluencers get paid?
As a Finfluencer, you are paid the first week of each month from campaigns completed during the previous month.
What payment methods does Xemoto Media offer?
Payment is offered mainly via PayPal, but we can also use Apple Pay, direct debit (Canada only), or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) on a case-by-case basis.

As a Finfluencer, you will be paid upon completion of the campaign, based on an agreed-upon rate. As a Finfluencer, you must submit your post analytics, link and screenshot to get paid. If you are connected to the Social Media Analytics Connector, this is done for you automatically.

Can Finfluencer’s be paid if they are international (outside Canada/US)?
Yes! As a Finfluencer, you can be paid internationally via PayPal.
Are Finfluencers with multiple channels paid separately?
Each channel is evaluated independently of all other channels, but the payments are made as a lump sum for all the campaigns across all of the channels that you used during the campaign. As a Finfluencer, what you might be paid for one channel does not affect payment for others.
What happens if a Finfluencer hasn’t been paid?
If you have not been paid, it may be due to one or more of the following issues:

  1. Not submitting analytics to the dashboard.
  2. Missing the deadline to upload analytics.
  3. Missing the deadline to post the campaign.

If you haven’t been paid after submitting that information, please contact us at support@xemoto.media

Does Xemoto Media accept Finfluencer referrals?
Yes! We love referrals. If you make a referral that leads to a partnership with a new Finfluencer, you are entitled to compensation!

OPPORTUNITIES AND CAMPAIGNS

Campaign vs. opportunity: What’s the difference?
We present Finfluencers like you with the opportunity to distribute financial content and news to potential retail investors (their followers). We will send the opportunity to you via email with specific posting and content details. If you wish to monetize your social media channels, we encourage you to accept the opportunity as soon as possible, as campaign capacity fills quickly.

A “campaign” is the collective posting and sharing of financial information by our Finfluencer network to retail investors. Once enough Finfluencers have accepted the opportunity, the campaign is launched and we will monitor your progress through our dashboard reporting tool.

Will I be alerted when there’s a new opportunity?
Yes, you will be alerted via email when there is a new opportunity. If you are not being alerted via email, please check your notification settings or contact us at support@xemoto.media.
How fast do I have to accept an opportunity?
There is no specific time requirement to accept an opportunity; however, we encourage you to accept opportunities as soon as possible. The window to sign up will close and no other Finfluencers will be allowed to participate once we reach the required number of Finfluencers for a campaign. Typically, we reach our quota within a few hours.
What is a Press Release?
A press release is an official statement issued by a business to inform the public about something noteworthy or of material significance. Typically, releases cover topics like product launches, signing new customers, acquisitions, business updates, annual or quarterly reports or other information pertaining to a company.

Press releases are primary sources of information, meaning they originate from the company itself and are used to keep shareholders updated on the company.

Can I choose the category of content I would like to post?
Yes! When registering your account as a Finfluencer, you have the option to choose from a number of content categories such as, but not limited to, tech, mining, healthcare, e-sports, cryptocurrency, cannabis, and more. You may choose as many or few content categories as you wish.

POSTING GUIDELINES AND BEST PRACTICES

What can I write on my post?
When sharing a link tied to a campaign, you are allowed to add your own text, provided it is not a recommendation or promotional. This is an essential requirement of being part of the Xemoto Media Finfluencer network to ensure posts adhere to the legal requirements when distributing content of a publicly traded company. Any additional text added to a post must be part of the press release, media coverage, or company content.

Typical disclaimers include #ad, #sponsored, #companyname. Please make sure you are adding your required disclaimers to comply with regulators and your social media channels.

Check out our Posting Guidelines for more information.

SUBMITTING ANALYTICS

How long do I have to submit my post analytics?
As a Finfluencer, you have up to 72 hours after the campaign launch to post your analytics on the dashboard. You will be notified by email if there is something missing from your analytics and given an opportunity to re-submit them. If you fail to do so, you will not be paid as we cannot confirm you followed through with the campaign in the allotted time. Timeliness is critical to our clients.
What information do I need to submit my analytics to the Dashboard?
To submit your analytics on our Xemoto dashboard, you need six (6) very simple pieces of information:

  1. Post URL: A link to your live post.
  2. Screenshot of your post and its analytics: This can be found in most post settings for any social media platform. If you cannot find this information, please feel free to reach out to support@xemoto.media
    • Reactions: Likes or any other type of reaction (e.g., ‘Love’ reaction on Facebook, ‘Celebrate’ reaction on LinkedIn, etc.). These are NOT impressions on Twitter.
    • Comments: Any time someone else comments on your post.
    • Shares: Any time someone else shares your post.
  3. Date posted: The date you posted the campaign content.
What qualifies as reactions, comments, and shares on my post?
Understanding reactions, comments, and shares are crucial for submitting your campaign analytics and getting paid.

Reactions are any engagement with your post such as ‘likes’ or any other type of reaction unique to a social media platform. This includes reactions, such as ‘love’ or ’wow’ on Facebook, ’celebrate’ on LinkedIn, or reactions to an Instagram story.

Comments are any time anyone comments anything on your post. For an Instagram story, direct replies qualify as comments.

Shares are any time anyone redistributes your post. For Twitter, retweets or quote tweets qualify as shares.

Will I be notified if my analytics are accepted?
Yes, you will be alerted via email if your analytics are accepted. Do not delete your post until your analytics are confirmed and visible on the campaign report on the Xemoto dashboard.
Why were my analytics rejected? What do I do?
If your analytics were rejected, it is likely because of an inaccuracy in reporting between the screenshot provided and the uploaded data. If there is an issue with your analytics, you will receive an email detailing how to fix and re-upload your analytics. Please complete this as soon as possible. Failure to fix the analytics will result in an inability to confirm your outreach and may jeopardize payment.

If you are still uncertain about why your analytics were rejected, contact us at support@xemoto.media

PRIVACY, SECURITY, AND REGULATIONS:

What securities regulations must Xemoto and its Finfluencers comply with?
At Xemoto Media, we take compliance very seriously. As a Finfluencer, your posting is regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Securities Act of 1933 – Section 17(b) – Fraudulent Interstate Interactions, which states:

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person in the offer or sale of any securities (including security-based swaps) or any security-based swap agreement (as defined in section 3(a)(78) of the Securities Exchange Act 27) by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by use of the mails, directly or indirectly – (1) to employ any device, scheme, or artifice to defraud, or (2) to obtain money or property by means of any untrue statement of a material fact or any omission to state a material fact necessary in order to make the statements made, in light of the circumstances under which they were made, not misleading; or (3) to engage in any transaction, practice, or course of business which operates or would operate as a fraud or deceit upon the purchaser.

(b) It shall be unlawful for any person, by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by the use of the mails, to publish, give publicity to, or circulate any notice, circular, advertisement, newspaper, article, letter, investment service, or communication which, though not purporting to offer a security for sale, describes such security for a consideration received or to be received, directly or indirectly, from an issuer, underwriter, or dealer, without fully disclosing the receipt, whether past or prospective, of such consideration and the amount thereof

This is why it is imperative that, as a Finfluencer within the Xemoto network, you must always follow the guidelines of how to post, include their disclaimers, such as #ad, and never recommend an investment.

Why is Xemoto Media news dissemination not considered promotion?
We never ask our Finfluencers to endorse or provide their opinion on any piece of content; we only ask that they disseminate it. As a Finfluencer, you have the choice to add a summary or direct quote from the content when posting. Transparency and honesty are key to complying with the laws and regulations surrounding securities.
